OUR PASTOR
Rev Daniel C. Ward a native of Queen Annes County, Maryland son of Rev. William J. Ward Jr and Ursula D. Ward, has over the past years worked in a number of ministries at Community Baptist Church to including Ushers, Brotherhood, Trustee and various singing groups.
​
In 1999 Rev. Ward answered the call into ministry and since that time he has been a part of the CBC Prison Ministry, Youth Pastor and various preaching engagements. Rev Ward was ordained in October 2002 and became Co. Pastor of Community Baptist Church in 2011. In January of 2012 God elevated Rev. Ward to Pastor of Community Baptist Church.

Pastor Ward loves the Lord and loves to serve Him faithfully. He has been married to the former Angela Baker for 22 years and together they have two sons Brian, Kenneth and a daughter Kimberly.

Pastor and First Lady Ward look forward to the future endeavors that God has for them to accomplish and together they stand on 1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

Community Baptist Church formed in 1993 continues the mission of its founding Pastor and First Lady, Rev William J. Ward Jr and Sis. Ursula Ward... Matthew 25:36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.​ We are also committed to saving the lost, strengthening the saved and feeding the hungry.
We are known as the church that sits on the hill where the SON shines ever so brightly. We believe it is our duty to do as stated in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 to encourage one another and build each other up, for we firmly understand as stated in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the Lord.

At Community Baptist we are a loving church, growing in the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Here there are no big I's nor little you's. We are one proud body of Christ unified to praise and worship the Lord.
